Dear lovely resident of Brighton & Hove,

After a successful inaugural year, we would like to inform you of our fantastic second Brighton and Hove Triathlon taking place on the morning of Sunday 17th September 2017.

The family run race organisers are local to Brighton & Hove. We are passionate about encouraging participation in sport through triathlon in the local community, whilst having fun and raising money for some great causes. We are really proud to be working with charities including Martlet’s Hospice, Stonewall and Bloodwise and have full support from Brighton & Hove City Council.

As a result there will be a partial closure of the A259 from Wish Road, Hove, BN3 to Western Street, Brighton, BN1, between 06:00hrs - 14:00hrs on Sunday 17th September 2017. Please see the road closure along the blue line overleaf and diversion plan along the yellow line overleaf.

In the meantime, if you would like more information about the event or to view the road closure plans in more detail please view our website www.brightonandhovetriathlon.com

In case of any access issues over the weekend, please call 07548703108. Prior to the event please call the office on 01273 525 187 between 09:00-16:30.

We are also running a free to attend Sport and Fitness Show over the weekend with a multitude of free activity for families including fitness classes, a climbing wall, trampolines, an endless swimming pool and much more. We hope you get your sports kit on and get active with us.

We look forward to seeing you cheering on our triathletes on the course again this year or maybe giving the race a go yourself! We have distances available for all abilities from 400m swim, 5km cycle and 2.5km run. We are also running a children’s scoot-bike-run for 4-8 year olds.

Warmest regards,

The Brighton and Hove Triathlon Team
