Brighton and Hove Triathlon partner with Frog Bikes to bring children's triathlon to Brighton beachfront

June 29, 2017

Brighton and Hove Triathlon have announced their partnership with children’s bike specialist Frog Bikes. Combining their love of the outdoors and inspiring children to get active, the collaboration will now extend the age limit for multi sport competition at Brighton from 3 to 83.

3-8 year old's can take part in the Frog Bikes Mini’s Race (scoot, bike & run races), a fun competition to ease them into multi sport. 8-14 year old's can race in the Frog Bikes Children’s open water Triathlon, for Tristars, Youths and Juniors. All races will start in the sea on the world famous Brighton beach, followed by a safe closed-road dual carriageway cycle section and finishing with a run along the seafront promenade.

The Event is headed up by John Lunt and his team of very experienced race organisers. He has coordinated many children’s triathlons and Brighton will provide the perfect setting to give children a true taste of what it's like to race a triathlon. The Childrens’ triathlon will be part of massive triathlon event where over 1000 adults will also be taking part.

There will also be a FREE demo area with a full range of Frog Bikes available to try, alongside other sporty activations for the family to get involved with.
