We are very pleased to announce that Macmillan Cancer Support is the official charity partner for all TriBourne events in 2025!

There are currently 36,400 people living with cancer in East Sussex, with around 5,380 more being diagnosed each year. Macmillan do amazing work to support people living with cancer, but they can't do it alone. Because 97% of their work is funded by people like you, they need your support now more than ever.

How can I make a difference?

In 2023, 1,800 people from East Sussex rang Macmillan’s Support Line – a service that allows people affected by cancer access a wide range of support.

Their teams can answer questions about cancer types and treatments, provide clinical, practical, emotional and financial support to help people live with cancer.

£417 could support their Cancer Information and Support team to run their Macmillan Support Line phone service for 1 hour. In this time, they could deal with 25 calls and web enquiries from people who need practical or financial support.

How do I join Team Macmillan?

You can support Macmillan by signing up for a charity place on the event entry form and committing to fundraise. There are a limited number of discounted Macmillan fundraising entries available - get yours before they are gone.

All Macmillan supporters will receive support from Macmillan's specialist triathlon team, including a digital welcome pack with helpful advice on training and fundraising. You’ll also receive a free Team Macmillan technical t-shirt to wear on race day.
